Welcome to “The 52 Club”. Thank you for your interest. This is your Sport and Social Club. We are situated in the basement of Bonham Carter House in Gower Street, within easy walking distance of your work place.

Please come down and have a look around, if you are interested, we are not commercially driven and you do not have to commit to a whole year, unlike some health clubs.

Joining is easy all you need to do is fill in an application form and payroll form where applicable, bring proof of your NHS employment such as an id card or current payslip and the first payment.

We offer a free induction when you join so that our staff can introduce to the machines in the gym in a safe manner, again you can do this at any time to suit your working hours.

  • Meeting Rooms

    We have three different rooms at competitve rates available for hire to all.

  • Reflexology

    Reflexology is the technique of applying gentle pressure to reflex points on the feet to bring about a state of deep relaxation and stimulates the bodies own healing processes to encourage a return to a state of balance and wellbeing.
