Fitness classes

Our fitness classes cover a wide and diverse range of skills and fitness.

We have qualified and insured coaches to ensure the classes are safe, fun and beneficial. We have two studios purpose built for the classes and the numbers are restricted, but there is a far bigger programme of classes. There is no need to be a Member to come along to any of these group fitness exercises.

  • Body Pump – a great all body workout to music – a good introduction to weights for all abilities.
  • BodyCombat – this dynamic 55min workout incorporates martial arts moves to 10 music tracks and is an all round non contact good fun class- you’ll see results fast.
  • Pilates – focused on buildingcore strength and flexibility, resulting in longer leaner muscles. Advanced class available.
  • Spin- a simple yet efficient workout, in a non-intimidating and fun group setting.
  • Yoga – hatha yoga to ease away tension with a workout for mind and body, improves muscle tone and flexibility.
  • Kickboxing – an upbeat cardiovascular workout emphasising footwork, body movement, punching and kicking combinations with offensive and defensive techniques. dtor75@yahoo.co.uk
  • Capoeira Muzenza – Brazilian martial art, self defence, dance and music. Mesmerising to watch and great fun to do. www.capoeiraacademyuk.com
  • London Sword and Dagger Club - Learn the martial arts of medieval Europe. This group is one of Europes most respected historical martial arts clubs. They study a fifteenth century manuscript, written by the master Fiore dei Liberi. Which covers wrestling, dagger, swords, spears and poleaxes. www.swordfightlondon.com

  • Karate – Kyokushin Martial Art – this is free to all members and a fee of only £1.50 for use of the facilities to non members
  • Balance Body- a mixture of yoga, taichi, pilates and other core stability disciplines set to music
  • Zumba- this latest craze dance class is so much fun you forget you are exercising
  • Aerobics LBT- a traditional legs bums and tums workout
  • Aerobics Attack- a gym inspired active cardio vascular workout
  • Aerobics Dance- this is fight fat and boogie to your favourite old tunes

Policy

Due to a turnstile being fitted, a person attending the classes will need to be here about 5 minutes before the class starts. No outdoor shoes, bags or coats will be permitted in the new studios, so lockers in the changing rooms must be used. Entrance into the class will not be allowed late as this affects safety and professionalism. There is a Member discount for most classes.
