The 52 Club

The 52 Club is a sports and social staff service to the employees of the UCL Hospitals in Central London.


Established in the 1950s it offers a range of facilitites to the professionals of the clinical and administration departments of the NHS Trusts in the area. It is supported by UCLH Charity and enjoys a healthy membership of 1500 members. The facilities are comprehensive for a non commercial site and the 52 Club team is freindly and approachable. The 52 Club has been in the basement of Bonham Carter House since 1974 and has had investment over recent years but still maintained it’s art deco character in places.

It is managed by a Committee of volunteers who meet regularly to make policy and financial decisions.
